Colombia

Feeding ministry in #Medellin #Colombia. Thank you for your support.

Last month we fed approximately 130 kids and parents weekly. The children and families attending the feeding programs have heard the gospel through lessons, games, and crafts. This month we taught about Jesus's birth and the events surrounding it.

Several of the Venezuelan moms continue attending church and have joined discipleship groups. Also, we started picking up Venezuelan families from a government tenement home in the city's center. Around 30 new kids started coming with their fathers and mothers.

We had a fair-themed Christmas party where the kids participated in games and answered trivia questions to win and choose their prizes. We gave out toys, books, clothes/accessories, and candy.  We also had hot dogs, popcorn, candied apples, and ice cream, to treat the kids to something special.
The moms spent the day making “Hallacas” a traditional Venezuelan Christmas dish, so that they could feel more at home. The moms received books, kitchen supplies, and essentials for their babies.

We also started our annual year-end fundraiser to provide school kits, groceries, and other items to families in need. We will be handing out the supplies in January, after a Christmas break for the workers.

Thank you for your support and prayers.
