H5G5 El Salvador: Farm to Family

In partnership with Fundación Esteban, we are transforming how vulnerable communities in El Salvador fight hunger. Established in 2014, the foundation’s Farm to Family program goes beyond short-term food relief by producing fresh, nutritious food on a local model farm, reflecting broader national and international efforts to strengthen sustainable, community-based food systems.

Feeding and food packages for families

This sustainable initiative now supports about 1,000 people every week through 10 key community programs across El Salvador. Fresh produce from the farm is distributed into feeding programs, children’s and family ministries, and other outreach efforts, ensuring that families receive healthy food while also experiencing the love of Christ in practical, tangible ways.

By combining local food production with community outreach, Farm to Family helps reduce food insecurity, empowers communities to care for their own nutritional needs, and creates a model of ministry that is both compassionate and sustainable. Together with Fundación Esteban, we are investing in people, strengthening families, and pointing communities to the hope of the Gospel—one harvest and one meal at a time
