Venezuela is experiencing catastrophic food shortages, with millions of families unable to access basic necessities due to economic collapse, hyperinflation, and supply chain breakdowns. For many vulnerable people in Caracas, this feeding program represents their only reliable source of regular meals and dignified care.

Feeding Schedule: Meals provided twice weekly, totaling 8 feedings per month

Monthly Impact: Serves approximately 100 people per feeding, providing 800 meals per month to families who would otherwise go hungry

Volunteer-Driven Model: The entire program operates through 100% volunteer effort, with no paid staff

Meal Preparation and Distribution:

• Food is cooked in a volunteer’s home

• Prepared meals are transported to a local plaza

• Distribution occurs in a community setting where families gather

Current Menu

Staple Meals: Rice, beans, or pasta—carbohydrate-rich foods selected to provide lasting energy and maximum satiety within budget constraints

The team aspires to include meat or other protein sources to improve nutritional quality, but current resource limitations make this difficult to achieve consistently
